KEY FEATURES :

Stellite 1 (Cobalt Alloy 1) is an excellent high temperature wear resistance alloy, consisƟng of a rich cobalt matrix with a high. degree of chromium and tungsten carbides. This alloy is excellent when used in high temperature abrasive wear applications. It can also be specified in a number of different corrosive medias such as down hole sour gas applications.

TYPICAL APPLICATION OF ER NiCr-C WIRE (Stellite 1)

PolyStel 1 has found acceptance in a number of applicaƟons where galling, abrasion and corrosion are a problem. Applications include shaŌ sleeves, bushings, hot metal working rolls, bearings in rock bits, and seaming rolls for beverage cans. It should be noted that it is very difficult to put this hardfacing down on large areas crack free. Minor cross checking on large components should be expected.

KEY FEATURES :

Stellite 6 (Cobalt Alloy 6) is designed for high temperature applicaƟons. PolyStel 6 provides excellent wear resistance to abrasion as well as in metal to metal applicaƟons. Wear resistance is provided by the complex chromium and tungsten carbides that are supported in a rich cobalt matrix. PolyStel 6 is also resistant to oxidaƟon up to its melƟng range and can be saƟsfactorily specified in sour gas as well as other corrosive applications.

TYPICAL APPLICATION OF ER NiCr-A WIRE (Stellite 6)

Typical applicaƟons include shaŌ sleeves, bushings, steam erosion on turbine blades, hot working tools, guide rolls, mixer paddles, mechanical seals, and various types of valve trim. It should be noted that it is possible to put this hardfacing down on different sized areas crack free though care should be taken when selecƟng a base material.

Stellite 12 has excellent resistance to many forms of chemical and mechanical degradaƟon over a wide temperature range. Stellite 12 attributes are its anƟ‐galling properties, abrasion, corrosion resistance, and oxidaƟon resistant up to its melƟng range. It can be applied to all weldable steels, including stainless steels.

Typical applications include steam valves, hot shears, chemical and petrochemical valves, cavitation repair, and forging dies.
